4-H

Since it was kind of a yucky day, I decided to get a jump start on Ashley's 4-H projects. We ran over to Jay-C with a huge list. I didn't have hardly any ingreadients that they were calling for. Bummer. Ashley had a really great time going down the isles finding what we needed, documenting sugar contents in food and also juice contents in different drinks. We still have lots to do,but at least got a 1/3 of the cooking part done. We made Mama mia pizza, granola bars, and here in a bit fruit kabobs. Ashley is really impressed with the pizza. She says it's the best she ever had. She wants me to blog the recipe,so here goes.

Buscuit dough,Ragu pizza sauce, mini pepporonies, mushrooms, cheese. Flatten dough, add toppings, flatten some more if needed, and flip one side to make a pocket, use fork to pinch down edges. Bake 400 deg 15-20 min

Granola tastes good, followed directions and not quite sticky enogh, but maybe they need to sit a bit longer. She's very proud of herself, and I've enjoyed watching her learn to cook. She now says she wants to open her own pizza and sandwich shop.
