Thanks Melissa for the jogging stroller. Today I unearthed it from the garage, dusted it off, and off Kevin and I went. We walked up and down our gravel road  for 45 min. Minus a few minuets chattin with our neighbor then looking for her granddaughter who took off around the house. Overall I feel great. Maybe next time I won't get interrupted. I swear Kevin needs a shirt that says ,Chick Magnet. I can't go anywhere without someone stopping me. Don't worry I had him all bundled up and even rigged a coat over him to block the wind. It did rain on us a bit,but I didn't melt. Next nice day we'll go to the park, I just didn't want to get too far away with the sky lookin like it did. I'm hoping next week will be nicer. Wish me luck.

Weight Watchers

Today I joined Weight Watchers online. It keeps track of food, exercise and so much more. I'm pretty excited about it. A long time ago I did weight watchers at work and I liked it. I still have the cookbooks and all the info from them.  They have a special going on right now no sign up fee and $57 for three months $17 for every month after that. I really am hoping this tool will help me keep on track.

Babies are awesome.  I love his cute little smiles and sounds that he makes.
We went to Madison last night to see how much flooding there was. Lots of other people were doing the same. As we left town it was pouring down, so who knows how high it is now.  Notice the geese to the left. At the Lanier home, the lower garden where Maggie got married is all under water. The water is also lapping at the winery's doors. Along Hwy 56 it's up to the guardrails and somewhere down farther the road is closed. We don't know where, but signs were up. Across the river where we use to put the boat in it's up to where you would first pull in. About a truck length is all that's left. I know cause I sat there and watched some guy pull in and he got his front tires wet as he was trying to turn around. To the right of the bridge on KY side all those buildings are in the water,To the left  water is on both sides of the road, maybe a culvert there?  Down the road towards Broyles house it's just to the guardrail. I hope it quits raining  and all this flooding quits. It's going to be quite the mess down there.

KY side Rt side of the road(River is on Lt side)
KY boat ramp.              Road ends in water Don't know whats up with the mud there.
Monkey see monkey do. I love this picture!!!!!!

Easter 2011

It was a hopping place at Mom's Saturday. It was soooo good seeing everyone.  We had such a good time.
Ashley made the cookies and decorated the cake. She was so proud.

  Aren't they both cute?!!!
These two are just about 8 weeks apart. Collin's hair stands straight up,too adorable. Such  A happy baby.
Kevin says, I wish I had some hair too.

Collin weighs 20 pounds. The NFL scouts are already checking him out.
Fredrick was born end of Oct. and is trying to crawl and can sit up. They grow so fast. He weighs 17 pounds now. He is also a happy baby.
This is a Mobey wrap I was trying on. It's very comfortable and surprisingly holds Kevin  securely. I'm afraid I'd need a Mobey for Dummies book, because you can wrap this around you several different ways to put the baby in different positions. I do think I have this one down though, and thinking I may have to get one of these VS the dinky stroller.
Easter at Mamaw's was on Sunday. Thank goodness the rain stopped so the kids could go outside and burn off some of that energy. I wish I could harness that.
 Kevin got fraternal twin bunnies.

Wow they are all sitting still and smiling.

Blowing bubbles on the old pontoon boat is more fun than just standing on the ground.
WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GROSS!!! Mark and Bob went fishin. Nothing was caught. Bummer.
Astronaut Ashley has landed on planet Muscatatuck
All tuckered out.  Hope everyone had as much fun as we did. I love getting together with family and catching up. I love snuggling all the babies and watching the others grow up. I hope all of our kids stay in close contact with each other as we have. It's a blessing to have such a great family. Happy Easter!!!!!!

Kevin says he can cheer too.  "Go rattlesnakes!!!!!!!!!!"
Mom and Dave came to Ashley's first game. It was a pretty exciting. The field was a muddy mess. We might have won if we didn't have a girly girl for a goaly. She didn't even try :( Score was 6 to 5. We hung in there. Ashley stole the ball several times. We are so proud of her. She didn't mind losing, her main concern was if she could still go to Dairy Queen

Kevin says, Where's my baby blizzard?

2 months old now

Kevin went for his 2 month checkup yesterday. He weighs 11.04 pounds and has grown 2 inches in 4 weeks. He had to get 4 shots yesterday and poor thing let out a cry I've never heard. I couldn't help, but cry too. Bill even got a bit teary eyed. Thank goodness he has a few month off before his next shots.
He is sleeping through the night., knock on wood. If it's  quiet he'll sleep till 7AM.Going to bed between 11 and 12. He also goes back to sleep by 9AM and sleeps to 11. Me too usually, trying to catch up on my zzzzz's He is now  making all kinds sounds. my favorite is the one that sounds like Hi. I bet he's going to be an early talker like Sis. Here recently he has discovered he can reach up and play with the toy bar that is on his bouncy seat. He esp. likes the rattle. He is also fascinated by the shows Brainy Babies and Zoo Babies on KTV. Ok maybe I like zoo babies more, but who can resist watching them. For Easter we got him a set of Little Einstein DVD's so he can watch anytime anywhere. Ashley loved watching them when she was a baby too.  It shows babies doing different things, shapes, colors, noises, and things around the world. It's pretty fast paced and since scenes change so quickly to something else it keeps his attention.  I love watching him watch it, he gets this quizzical look on his face.Babies are so much fun.

What a kick!!! I can't believe I captured it on film.  She is doing great during practice. First game is Thursday at 5:30 at Sandcreek if anybody wants to come.
With all this rain the fields are a muddy mess. Can you believe she doesn't seem to mind?!!! I remember when she had to change her clothes if she got a tiny drop of water on them.
Today Mom and I went to Betty Mannings. What a gorgeous day!!!!!!! I have been looking forward to when she opened. Her flowers look so pretty and the food is fabulous!!!!!!!
This stranger came up to us and caught me cheating on my diet. I couldn't resist the cheesecake. We're at least walking later tonight.
Kevin visits with Betty and pretty much everyone else there. He gets all kinds of attention. He needs a shirt that says I'm a chick magnet.
Kevin's been "talking" a lot lately. He says he's having a great time.

 Picture perfect

Can't wait to go back and see the place all in bloom.

Biker Baby

Just chillin, enjoyin the warm weather while it lasts almost 90deg

Swinging with Aunt Terri
Kevin's first stroll around the farm.
Ashley tried to ride her bike. She was having a lot of difficulity. Turned out her tires were really low. Maybe next time it won't be so hard. Soon she'll be zipping up and down the road without a care. I still remember Amanda and I riding our bikes at the other farm. One of our favorite things to do.

It turned out to be a gorgeous day out. It started out with a bit of thunder and rain. When I got up again, it was all big white clouds and sunny. Feels good. AND IT'S NOW QUIET!!! Of course I'm  wide awake.
Last night was "ruff". I was about to duct tape some dogs mouths shut. The neighbors have two huge Great Danes and their bark just vibrates through this house. Of course they startled Kevin awake. Then once I got him quited down our dogs really started in. Again I had to get up with Kevin. Then later their dogs started barking again, then ours. Back and forth it went. I think the culprit is a stray cat that keeps coming around. It was getting ridiculous. Eventually the neighbors took their dogs in and that was the end of it. Of course when I tried to go back to sleep after dropping Ashley off, their dogs were out and barking. Another neighbor started shooting a gun. I wonder if his targets had a couple of dog faces drawn on them. I managed to squeeze in a little nap before noon, between all that, having to run back to school to take Ashley her tennis shoes, and some guy calling, I was lucky to get one. A huge cup of coffee is getting me through the rest of the day. Mom and Grandpa stopped by about 1:00. We had a really nice visit. Skyped with Amanda. Grandpa got to see them for a bit anyway.
On other news, day three of the diet is going well. I decided to try on a pair of jeans that I wore before getting pregnant and they fit!!! I'm super excited about that. No more maternity pants for me. I don't care if I have to wear these every day till I lose more weight,I'm not putting those back on. :)
I just got back from getting Ashley form school. Standing in car pick up in front of me were two horses. That would be sooooo cool to be picked up with a horse. That's just something you don't see everyday.

Welcome Zeke!!!! He was born this morning 1:20 AM. 6 pounds 5ounces 19 1/2 inches long. Please pray for this little guy, Dwight, and Melissa, for he will be facing many surgeries. My heart goes out to them.

Went for my 6 week checkup yesterday and had the dreaded talk of losing this weight.  So, starting today Bill and I are going the route of more protein, water, and less salt. For me anyway, Bill won't ease up on the salt. I'm still going to eat fruits and veggies don't worry. Just staying away from sugar, cereal, and bread. My apologies to the Schwan's man. I know he and Bill are close and he and the chocolate peanut butter ice cream will be missed.  Bill needs a tissue.haha No more late night emergency calls for ice cream.  FYI Bill did that not me. So wish me luck. Bill has never gone on a diet with me,but he is willing with this one. Mostly cause eating more meat is involved. He'd eat steaks every night if you'd let him. Since I don't seem to have enough time in the day to do everything we stocked up on nuts and I boiled a dozen eggs this morning. Yes I even ate one without salt. Proud of myself there,a little hard to get down quite honestly, but I have to seriously lose this weight.I watched Biggest Loser last night and it was inspirational. To think of the amount of weight I have to lose just seems impossible, pass the ice cream, what does it matter attitude, has to go out the window. This girl last night has lost over 200 pounds and her simple words were take it a day at a time. Easier said than done, I just have to focus on the the success and not what's left to lose.
Other news: Ashley had her first soccer practice last night. 1 1/2 hours of teeth chattering excitment. It was so cold and windy. I hope warm weather is around the corner. After all this rain you can just imagine how she looked after practice was over. Mud was splattered all over her, looked like she took a roll with some pigs. Even  though Kevin was all bundled up and a heavy blanket over his stroller, I had Bill take him back to the Expedition. He seemed all cozy inside, but I didn't want to have him out there too long. Bill wants to jack up the stroller and put big tires on it.. Getting to where Ashley's team was, was near impossible with that stroller. Bill said Kevin's first mud bogging experience would have been better in a monster buggy. He's seriously thinking of a way to modify his stroller. Actually I'm OK with this, cause that stroller stinks.

Plan on posting more pictures of me to keep myself in check. I tend to shy away from the camera. Not the best picture I know. Ashley took it while I was talking, but I really don't have many pictures with me in them.
