Christmas Morning

As soon as the kids got up they were told they could see what was in their stockings. I was glad I was up already so I could snap a few pictures.

They each got a pillow pet. I was extremly lucky to find them on line for a normal price. People were paying up to $200 for them on E-Bay. Everyone else was sold out or had the not so popular ones. I had saved the sight that said sold out ,but expecting a shipment,so I checked back the next day and they had the ones the girls really wanted. I had earlier found a cute dog,and ordered it,and then I decided to give it to a very sweet, but sick boy at the hospital. He loved it.

After opening all the presents ,it's tradition to throw it all up in the air like confetti

I love this one of Leia making a "snow angel"

You can't even see Leia in this picture.

Cleaning house

We are trying to clean house today. I'm busy doing laundry and trying to get things in order around here, when I realize, it's a little too quiet around here. I peek into Ashley's room to see how they are comming along with the cleaning and this is what I find. Too cute not to love. Oh to be a kid again.

They later drag out the play-doh. Take two steps forward take three back.  No wonder my house is never clean. I wouldn't trade them for a clean mansion though.

I really did have my kitchen totaly picked up. Guess I should have taken a picture. Like they say, a picture lasts longer. Haha
I'm really impressed with the girls artisticness.

I asked Leia what this was a drawing of and she said, "It's my favorite chinese restaurante!"

Thanks to everyone for all the Christmas presents. The kids love everyone and has played with them all.My house is a complete disaster to prove it. Not sure why I spent a week cleaning.Haha. They are having so much fun. We are going on a shopping spree later since we got some gift cards. Below are pictures taken Christmas eve morning. We took Grandpa out for breakfast at Blackerbys in Columbus.  They have the best breakfast ,highly recomend the pancakes.

Our first real snow. Dec. 27.  Later today we plan on using Aunt Melissa's snow paint she gave Ashley for Christmas. Ashley can't wait to write her name in the snow.

Busy day today. Who needs to sleep in on their first day of winterbreak?? We got up early to go visit Jenifer and their slew of animals. I was shocked that the duck and the chickens would let you hold them. They didn't even try to get away. We had such a great time with them . The funniest thing that happened is that their blind dog got out and we were trying despratly to catch him. He was dodging us all for what seemed like forever and I made the comment that I didn't really think the dog was blind. Just as soon as the words left my mouth the dog ran smack dab into the front of  Amanda's car. HAHAHA It didn't hardly miss a beat and kept on running. I finaly did catch it,because he was trying to get a drink of water.

Later today we made some festive rice crispi treats for santa. On top of them is cream cheese iceing, peanutbutter chips, and M&M's Santa's not going to make it up the chiminey, or should I say out the front door since technically we don't have a chimney.

Don't know why can't flip picture.

I Got a NEW FRIDGE for Christmas!!!!! I came home  last night and it was in my kitchen all wrapped up with paper and the biggest bow. It's a french door with the freezer on the bottom,Water and ice on the door. I'm soooo happy!!!!! It's funny because he bought it a week ago and they had it in the store with our name on it. I said why don't we go to Lows and look at Fridges. He had to do some quick thinking ,he went to load wood in the woodstove, but he really was making a call for them to take the tag off. then when we got to Lows he pulled a fast one on me (told me had to go to the bathroom and it was going to be awhile). I thought well might as well go too. Then he slipped away as soon as i went in and made sure things were OK. They had taken it and hid it in the back. When we finally started looking at them I picked this one in particular out. sticker price $1700. I never imagined it was  just like the one he already bought for me.  He was on cloud nine that I had said it was my favorite. He however did not pay $1700 for it. He got it for $900. It was in their clearence section and they were just trying to move them out. Nothing at all wrong with it,not even a scratch, They just had too many.

SANTA

Found a few more pictures with Santa. I wonder what Bill asked for??

Drumm Roll Please

We out did ourselves decorating for Christmas this year.  Yesterday I noticed  an add that Rual King had
all their Christmas stuff 50% off so we went and got something like 17 trees that light up and some other decorations. Last year after Christmas, Bill got a program to run different things to music, but we really didn't have a bunch of "things" until yesterday.  As we were putting them up we realizd we needed more extension cords. YEP like 14 more and let me tell you we had a buch already. So we went back to Columbus  and decided to go to Lows. They have things 50% off too,but not much of a selection. Well we saw the nativity set and just had to get it. It's so adorable. Of course there's none in a box, so they had to climb up really high to get it out of their display. So Kooto's to the guy that got it down for us. So now we have musical Christmas trees around the nativity scene .  Sometimes Jesus is really rocking thaks to Trans sibearian Christmas music.
