Just a few Pictures of flowers and garden.
The Hydrangia below is huge. It's hard to make out in picture, but there are pink, purple, and blue blooms on it this year. I wish I  got pictures of them the other day when they were perfectly round. Guess the wind or rain knocked them down a bit. Can you believe Bill hates this plant. He wants to get rid of all three of them! For some reason this one blooms better then the other two.
Zucinii has flowers on them.

Three almost ready tomatoes on this plant. I can't wait to eat them. The other two are hidden just behind the one you see. Down the row a bit I have cherry tomatoes that are comming along too.

I once feared that my strawberry plants were gonners due to too much rain, but look close and  you can see some berries. I'm really excited about this discovery. Good old Mirical Grow.  Now if I can just keep the birds and squirrels away.

Topsey turvey tomatoe plant has several small tomatoes and flowers on it. I wish all these pictures showed up better. This plant was very little when we planted it. This one is growing the fastest of all my plants. It almost touches the ground now.

Wanna go for a boat ride???

Today was such a perfect day. No rain in sight,so we went to the Lake.
Doesn't Ashley look COOL. The dogs were sooooooo excited to be able to go too. They knew as soon as I drug the cooler out we were going. They couldn't wait to get out the door. They were almost as excited as I was.
Ashley enjoyed a crazy tube ride. I even drove the boat some. One day I'm gonna talk Bill into getting out there. He thinks he's too old or something.

Ashley want's to learn how to drive.
Yes, it was like jumping into icecubes. Quite refreshing.
Bill said NO THANKS. That we were crazy. Maybe so. Look at ashley real close. What do you see. MY OLD WETSUIT. Smart kid.

Bill let Ashley DRIVE!!!

The dogs and their travel water dish. You can almost hear Sugar say. AGGHHHH.
I LOVE DRIVING!!!!!!! What a life.

Harley snoozin by my feet while I drive.
Soakin up some sun. Don't worry we had waterproof spf 50 sunscreen on.

AWARDS DAY! Ashley got all dolled up for the BIG day. She got 4 certificates and two included special pins. KBUG, AB honor roll, National Physical Fitness award, and Outstanding citizenship award. We are very proud of her. We took her out to dinner and ice-cream tonight.

Another nice little poem for Mom.
Ashley is going to miss having Mom around. Almost every day, after school was out,Ashley and Mom would play with the beach ball while waiting for us to pick her up. I can't believe there are still ceiling tiles left. Mom gave Ashley the beach ball today before we left. We played with it outside later this evening.  I know it will get played with alot.

Went to Lowes and saw this adorable squirrel feeder. I was just talking about how I wanted some chairs like this. We did buy a couple of chairs for the front porch. Now we have someplace to sit and it doesn't look so bare.
While there we noticed these birds hanging around the bird houses. Eventually they found the bags of birdfood and helped themselves. Too funny.

My tomatoe plants are doing pretty good. The topsy turvey one is doing the best. Papaw had the right idea. I do have three tomatoes on first plant,Strawberry plants even look like they may make a comeback. Amazing what a little miracle grow will do.

We had a fabulous Memorial Day. The weather was perfect, warm and breezy. Mamaw had a cookout, Dad brought some mouth-watering ribs. Ended it with a nice trip down Mascatatuck, memory lane too. I remember all the good times going to the island when we were little. I love that our kids are doing some of the same things we did 25+years ago

Swimmin and havin a ball in the river.

The boys didn' t have any swim shoes, so after I got done swimming,  I gave Mark mine and Bob went out in his flip flops. It was so fun watching them all play around.
Bill trying to convince Bob that he'll have fun if he goes out farther ,and that he will be able to still touch the ground.

Bob decided to crawl all the way underneath the boat.
Don't worry the kids got him back.
Eventually Bob made it out to where everyone else was and he had a great time too.

Ashley in her towel beach coverup.
Going Back. What a perfect day.

Mom cleaning her room out for the last time. I bet she thought this day would never come.
Happy Retirement!

Every year we always help out at field day. It's hot and sometimes overwhelming, but we wouldn't miss it for the world. Below the kids have a cup with holes in the bottom and they pass it trying to fill a bucket up at the end of their row.

Kids all hold hands and try to work hoola-hoops down to the end without letting go of each other.
Marbel goes through noodles and into a can.
Ashley holding her ears cause of popping balloons. They run down to the chair,go around chair two times and then sit/bounce on balloon till it pops. Ashley can never get hers to pop. They always have to sneak a pin to hers.

We are HUGE cheerleaders. PULL PULL PULL!!!
YOU GOT 'EM  KEEP PULLIN!
Tug of war is everyones favorite. It get's really loud.
We won the first round, but lost the second, we then learned later that the othe class had 5 more kids. It lasted a really long time,so I think our kids really won.

We even got to cheer Collin and his classmates on. He really gave it his all.
Unfortunatly his team lost.
