Yesterday Ashley's team won again! It was a super close and  exciting game. Score was 3-2. I am so proud of how she just gets in there and shows no fear. Of course she hasn't gotten hit in the head yet. Lots of kids were getting hit yesterday. Also I wasn't the only one yelling.  Lots of parents were rooting their kids on. Dave said I was by far the loudest. : )

Thanks to Mamaw, I was able to get the steering wheel unlocked.  I told Bill about it and he says that happens sometimes and that it's a Ford thing. It's got almost  243,000 miles on her. She's allowed a few hiccups. It has been such a good truck. Never any real problems.

We're looking at getting rid of the Bravada.  Today I drove and fell in love with a Ford Expedition. It's exactly what Bill is looking for. I thought it would be too big, but it looks good and drives as if it were brand new. Bill has been haggling and I'm hoping to have a new vehicle next week. I'm super excited.

THANKS ANDY for being my spell check. I was cracking up.
This morning I went to get into the white truck and the steering wheel locked up and was unable to get the truck started. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?  Anyway at least I had the Trans Am. Now the Big question is could I still get in it. OH YEAH!!!!!! Took Ashley to school in style and in record time. Ashley made the comment, "WOW mom you usually don't go fast!" I laughed and said "We're not in the rolling turd today." That's what I refer the Bravada as. One of my favorite lines off of RV.
When I pulled back into the driveway I heard someone turn onto our road. I looked and it was a police car. CRAP!!!!!  I was wondering what he clocked me at.   I kept thinking, please  be the neighbors son stopping by before heading off to work. Slim chance, cause I have NEVER seen him in his police car. I decided to wave just in case as he was headed closer to my driveway. WHEW he waved back and kept going to the next drive. Will have to stop listening to the roar of the engine and pay attention to the speedometer.

Ashley's second game was yesterday. It was just as awesome as the first. They won 6-0!!!! Macey scored the first goal. I wish I could have gotten that picture. She was so excited. She's really good. Ashley almost made a goal, but the goaly got it. Boo. Ashley was excited to just get the opportunity. After the game she kept saying. "Did you see me almost get a goal!", "Did you see me Mom?" "Did ya did ya did ya!!!!!" She made plenty of good plays throughout.
Had trouble with the Bravada on the way to the game. It ended up being a bad hub. Bill just replaced it last year, and of course warranty recently ran out. He's a pro at fixing it anyway. He will finish it up tomorrow. What would I do without him?

Today was Ashley's first soccer game. Their team has had only two practices before this game and I was worried. Turns out that our team whooped the other team 6-1. Ashley did a fantastic job at getting the ball away from the other team. At one point early in the game, she got injured and we told her she was fine and to just walk it off. Boy did we feel bad when she took her sock off and had her big toenail ripped off and hanging by a thread. I was surprised at how well she played after that happened. We had such a fun time and YES, we were the loud people cheering the team on. We later asked Ashley if she was embarrassed and she said it was kinda nice hearing us cheering them on.

Goofing off before the BIG game.

Macey is in the middle Ashley is on the Right. Macey is one of Leia's best friends. Ashley and her are getting to be really good friends too. I'm glad I can share some pics with Leia. I know she sure misses her a lot.
A little practice before the game. I was worried they'd be too tired to play all the running around before hand. I know I'd be dead. Bill reminded me they were kids and could run like that for hours.
Ashley  is in the middle of this mess trying to get the ball.  I can't tell you how exciting this game was.(OK maybe we don't get out much.) It was so amazing and such an adrenalin rush to witness the action. I was extremely proud of the whole team.
Game over.
GOOD GAME!!!!!!!!!!
We celebrated with a trip to DQ with Mom and Dave.
Such a perfect day.

Yesterday was Ashley's first soccer practice. She was soooooooooo cute. She did really well out there. They played sharks and minnowes while dribbling the soccer ball and the two boys finally gave up on her. She wasn't going to let them take her ball away. I think she's going to give the boys a run for the money. She even scored some goals and looks to be one of the faster runners. I bet she ends up being a forward like her Mom and Amanda. Practices are on Wed and games are on Th. Unfortunatly  the season lasts only six weeks
Macey is on Ashley's team. Macey was one of Leia's best friends

Ashley is b/w the coaches. They are running up and down the field dribbeling.

Too cute.

Labor day fun.

The tile guy came out and laid the tile down and today is grouting it. Bill has Thursday and Friday off and I am hoping we can have our bathroom 100% done.  We are going to add wainsscotting and maybe a new vanity, just depends. We just may have to have a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate . We have also taken out all plant life around the house and are going to rockscape it.  I love flowers, I just don't like taking care of them. Maybe I should plant plastic ones. Haha. SO many projects, so little time.
Later that day Bill took Ashley to some friends house and rode horses. She wants one really really bad.

Fun was had by all. Especially me when I got home from a really busy day at work. I  kicked back and watched some Pawn Stars. If you've never seen the show you should tune in. They get some really interesting things in and they are just too dang funny. A  pawn shop in Vegas. That says it ALL!!!!!!!!!
