It's been awhile since I posted. Still getting use to Amanda and Leia not being here. I don't know how many times I've said, "It's time to go get the girls." It's kinda quiet around here. Ashley misses Leia terribly.

     For the last two weeks we've been putting Christmas things away, cleaning, going to the gym, and haning out with Ashley after school. She was in archery,she just had her last day earlier this week. We've got some practicing to do. Bill wants to get her the same bow and target so she can get use to it. The one she has already is not compitition. Of course she shoots really well with it. Next year she can get on a team,so Bill really wants to get her ready for that. We need to look around for them though, cause I'm not paying $200 for a bow. She just doesn't have the strength to hold the bow,pull back and shoot the distance. She shakes really bad. Bill says she needs to do push ups. Can you see why I'm not spending $200 on a bow. I think he needs to join his own team.

 She also this week tried out and won a spot in the talent show. I'm very impressed. Out of 35 acts they only chose 10. She is hoola hooping/dancing to a Hannah Montanna song. Too cute. Personally I think she'll win. Talent show is Feb 4 at 6:00 at her school if anyone wants to come. I need to charge camera,so I can get some pictures.

Sledding at Mamaw's is quite the rush. From almost the top of the hill you can make it all the way to the bottom. Bill even jumped the ditch and stopped out in the road. Leia had a minor accident when she hit a tree. Thank goodness it had a fence around it,and that pretty much stopped her.

When we came in from the freezing cold, Mamaw had some awsome hot chocolate fixed up for us.

I have discovered digital scrapbooking and,I'm sooooooooooo excited! Thought I'd share the ones I threw together today. .

SNOW DAY!!!!!

We spent about 2 hours outside,flying down the hill.  We had so much fun. I'm so glad Leia finaly got to go. Everytime the radio mentioned snow,she asked if she could go sledding. Just heard tomorrow is a snow day as well.YIPPEE!!!!!!! Shortly after we got outside two of our neighbors came over.  We got to meet the brand new ones and they just moved from Nashville ,TN and are huge Titans fans. They have two little ones and Ashley was taking them down on the hill on her sled. The other has a girl in first grade,but looks to be in 3rd,she's so tall. Sweet kids. Later the new neighbors asked if we wanted to go sledding behind their 4-wheeler. So the kids climbed on and off they they went.

Ringing in the New Year at Mamaw's

Look close at the picture below. I think we had a vistor and I'd like to believe it was Papaw Partying with us. No one was behind me or beside me,I was outside,not shooting through glass. None of the other pictures I took outside had this image in it,so not the camera. Comming from the wrong direction to be my breath,and even if it was, that's alot. I see a smaller face with part of a body and an arm outreached. Bill sees a large face.  Combine this picture with the strange unexplained green light in Mamaw's picture makes you wander. I'd like to believe our loved ones are still around us.
