Due to weather moving in, we got a few extra items this AM. Got home and needed a nap. Woke up to weather alarm sounding and it was announcing  up to 16 inches of snow!!! Plus ice and possable power outages. Bill right now is getting snow blower and genarater ready. We already had plans to pick up wood this evening,so will stop by gas station to fill up all gas cans too. I filled up some large pots with water,so good for a few days. I also printed off some info for Bill just in case of a special delivery.    Need to throw hospital bag in truck instead of Expedition. Just in case. YES I can still get in the truck.  I've been caring my camera and charger in my coat pocket for the last week, just in case. Most important thing to take anyway.  Patting my belly hoping not this week. Will keep you posted. Stay safe and warm.

Yesterdays Dr.'s appointment went well. Ready any time, right where it needs to be. Dr.said we could induce if we wanted, we told him NO THANKS!!!!! We'll just wait. My bag is in the vehicle and Bill is stocked up with plenty of cereal and frozen pizza's. I told him he could eat at the cafeteria too if he wanted, their food isn't too bad. He acts like I'm going to be gone for awhile or something. Right now I've got two roasts in the oven.  One for the next couple of days and the other for freezing. I've got some things made up and frozen ahead of time to make at least the first couple of weeks easier. I've been trying to do inventory around here so I can stock up and not run out of something at a bad time. Like dishwasher soap or trashbags. Cat and dog food too. I'm sure they will starve though if I don't hang a posterboard up that says,

 "Please feed us!!!!!!
From the cats and dogs

I just may seriously make one up to hang on the door. The little things you worry about.
I'm sure he'll get everything under controll.

Hospital Rules

Just to inform everyone of the very strict rules at the hospital. BOOOO!!!
May want to wait and come to visit at my house if you have kids, due to new rule of, no one under 14 years old allowed back. Ashley being the only exception. Visiting hours are from 12:00 -8:00,but will make an exception the first day. Only three people back at a time. You must use the phone to gain access back and then get a pass at the desk. Thank goodness I should only be there for 48 hours. If there is really bad weather please don't feel like you have to come, I'd rather everyone stay safe. Also please no flowers due to allergies.

Ashley the other day won her class spelling bee contest and today went up against all the other class spelling bee winners. She says there were about 20 kids. She came in third place, loosing out to a 5th and 6th grader. We're really proud of her accomplishments.

Here are a few more pictures of the nursery taken in the daylight.
Ashley put all her stuffed animals in a row too. Says she slept good on the futon.

Here are some almost done pictures of the room. Still need the dresser, curtains and shelves put in,but other then that were ready. Woo Hoo.
Bill painted the celing fan.
 Love the new molding
Ashley couldn't wait to sleep in there. Once the bed is made back in a futon there is a lot more room. Good for when we have extra company.
These are our very good friends Garey and Linda. So glad they coould spend a few days with us.

Just want to Thank everyone for the Birthday gifts and esp. for the fabulous Cheesecakes. YUMMY. I'm in heaven. Ever since I was given the option  of what I wanted for my birthday it 99.8% of the time was a baked cheesecake. I LOVE that stuff and on Monday I got TWO!!!!  One from Mamaw and one from Mom. Grandpa came over to Mom's to see me and he asked if I was gonna have a big baby.  I told him it all depended on how much cheesecake I ate. haha. Probably won't laugh tomorrow cause I have to face the scale, but I sure enjoyed them. I know they aren't easy to make and you have no idea how much it means to me that you made them for me. The cash went to the nursery and even had some left over for some accessories for the bathroom. A HUGE THANK YOU for that as well. I'll post pictures as soon as all done, which I'm hoping will be by tomorrow night.  We do have company coming over and they are staying till Friday. If that doesn't  push you to get something done, nothing will. Of course Bill did just walk by looking for a battery or charger for his drill. It's always something slowing you down.

Movie Critic

This weekend if you want to have a huge laugh rent, Dinner with the Schmucks.  Definitely not a kid movie so make sure they are tucked in bed. I can't believe Ashley slept through all the laughing. I thought I was going to pee my pants a couple of times. A definite must see.  Have a great weekend!!!!
Ashley's Grades

5 A's and 1 B+  Very proud of her. It broke her heart to get a B+ and begged me not to be mad at her. Like I would be.

Tonight I've been busy getting things around. I finally packed for my special trip and getting excited. 5 weeks left as of today. Been talking to Amanda and she thinks she'll be here around Valentines Day. Lots of things to be excited about.
A few pictures of my Birthday present. I wanted this room to be completely done. Since Bill was sick earlier this week it won't be done by Mon. but hopefully by Wednesday it'll all be done. Painting is officially done as of tonight. Fan,floor, and molding will hopefully get done Tuesday and Wednesday be all moved in. Thanks Mom for helping out yesterday. Had lots of laughs.
Low odor, no VOC paint, but still wasn't taking any chances. Wasn't in the room to much anyway due to mask driving me crazy.  First coat I told Bill it looked like a Cheetos bag exploded on the wall. As more coats added it looks lots better. Now more of a Sunkist orange color.
We let Ashley paint part of a wall. She was super excited to do it for all of a couple of minuets, then decided Dad should finish up.
Bill really wanted to hire a painter, but just wouldn't have gotten done in time for my Birthday,so Thank you for sucking it up and doing it yourself. Painting is his least favorite thing to do.  It might have helped that I told him to just pick a color. He probably figured he better jump on that chance before I changed my mind. I think his vision turned out pretty good. Can't wait to blog final pictures and to get all the stuff back in there.
