Bills family came for a visit this week.

 Mom and Grandpa came over too. Kevin is in one of his adorable new outfits. I love to shop for the kids. We found some killer deals at the outlet mall. Sorry for the expensive store that is going out of business, but yeah for the deals I got. $40 sweaters for $5.99 .Who buys babies $40 sweaters????

Kevin's 1 month old already. Hard to believe. Went to the Dr. today and he weighs 9lbs 8 oz.  The Dr. was asking if he could hold his head up some and we said,"OH Yeah, and he can roll." She laid him on his stomach to observe and he rolled up on both sides and then onto his back as if on cue. He knew he was being watched. Show off!!! He also held up his head and moved it forward and backwards several times as if keeping beat to the music.(OK, so he was really hungry) The Dr. was very impressed.  I was too, usually kids make you look like a liar :) He got one of many shots today, we only cried a little. I hate watching them do that. Told the Dr. about the St. Patties poop and then 2 days of no poop,then more green poo. Turns out I'm not eating enough protein. Do Reece's peanut butter cups count? She suggested we go to Steak and Shake for a burger and milkshake. Bill's Favorite place to eat.(Not mine however) Bill then jokingly said we had to, Dr's orders.

           Amy is down for a few days to visit.  I wish she lived closer, so we could see her more.

We are so proud

Ashley got all A's on her report card!!!!!!!!! 6 in all plus an outstanding in music and an S+ in PE.

I was up most of the night with Kevin. An hour to feed an hour of rest and then it was time to feed again. This went on all night. The 3rd time of doing this I gave him a bottle,but it didn't make any difference,he was up an hour later. This growth spurt can hurry up and be over. Bill weighed him yesterday and he weighs 10 pounds. We'll get an official weighing next Wednesday. After I took Ashley to school I took Kevin home,fed him and was planning on taking a nap. Just seconds away from going to sleep I get a call from school. Ashley needed me to bring her clothes. Of all days to spill something on herself. I went to school and ended up spending half the day there talking to half the school. It was nice to see everyone and catch up. I haven't been for awhile, so there was lots of catching up to do. Amazing enough I haven't crashed and have been up the rest of the day. Of course Kevin slept the entire time I was there and just as I got him in the door he woke up and wanted fed. Too funny.

Just an update. We are doing good. Kevin seems to be eating every 3-4 hours. Gaining weight really well. changing before our eyes it seems.  For all you Moms out there Please let me know your favorite diaper and kind of breast pump. I'd like to pump for night and have enough built up for when I go back to work. Well gotta go,will write later,Kevin just woke up and wants lunch.

Bill loves teaching Ashley about archery. She got this bow for Christmas and is hoping to make the Archery team next year.

                                                 Not bad. Better then I can do for sure.

Afterwards Bill took Ashley to play on the "Moon" It's this huge rock in the valley on the farm that Ashley likes to run and jump on.

   We tried to take "professional" looking pictures,but obviously we are armatures. Kevin's shirt says   Daddy's Little Wingman.

     Bill is a big Cubs fan. These cute outfits are Build A Bear doll clothes. They fit pretty good.

We went to Baby's R Us tonight. Dad had given us a gift certificate and I was wanting a nursing pillow. The darn thing was $47,but  let me tell you it's worth every penny. It wraps around your body and has a back support. No need to juggle a baby and pillow anymore. Hopefully my back will quit hurting soon. Anyway on the way home, we were looking for some place to eat dinner. After naming a few,Bill said," How about Long John Silvers?" I said,"OK ,let's go there." Ashley said," I know you're just kidding, none of us likes fish except, tuna and salmon." Bill pipes up,"and Shark." Ashley said,"Technically shark is not a fish." Then Bill goes,"Why do you have to be so technical all the time?" and she said,"It's not my fault. Bill said,"Who's fault is it?" Ashley said,"It's your fault,because you always say things wrong." I'm still laughing. Miss Smarty Pants.

Josh and Brook came over to Mamaw's to see Kevin on Sunday. Little did they know they would also have their little one soon. Lucky girl went 9 days before her due date.
